1. Diploma in Functional Arabic

1. Objective: To develop communicative skill in Arabic and to develop understanding of the basic elements of art, culture, literature and civilian practices, to demonstrate and train in translation, oral presentation, support IT based services and to develop skill in related areas and practices.
2. Eligibility: Open to all who have passed Intermediate (+2) or equivalent Examination. As an add–on course candidates can also be deputed by the Government, Public & Corporate bodies for admission. Students from foreign countries can also join the course with special permission of the Admission Committee which will determine the equivalence of eligibility. Admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained at the final examination of required eligibilities.
3. Duration: One Year.
4. Fee Structure: 2500/- for Indian Residents, and Rs. 5000/- for Foreign / NRIs. Registration Fee Rs. 200/-, Examination Fees Rs. 500/- Tarang Exlavya Rs. 10/-.

2. Diploma in Functional Persian

1. Objective: To develop communicative skill in Persian and to develop understanding of the basic elements of art, culture, literature and civilian practices, to demonstrate and train in translation, oral presentation, support IT based services and to develop skill in related areas and practices.
2. Eligibility: 10+2 or its equivalent examination passed candidates from a recognized Board including Madrasa Education Board Bihar, in Arts/Science/Commerce securing 45% marks in aggregate.
3. Duration: Three years degree programme consisting of three academic years each divided into two semesters of six months duration.
4. Fee Structure: 2500/- for Indian Residents, and Rs. 5000/- for Foreign / NRIs. Registration Fee Rs. 200/-, Examination Fees Rs. 500/- Tarang Exlavya Rs. 10/-.

3. Diploma in Manuscriptology

1. Objective: To disseminate knowledge regarding analysis and understanding the ways & means of classifying, recording, maintaining and preserving manuscripts in its various forms. Further the course will demonstrate and train in the practical aspects of the important procedure of procuring and displaying of manuscripts using new techniques and IT system.
2. Eligibility: Intermediate (+2) or equivalent examinations passed. Candidates who are deputed by the Govt. Public & Corporate bodies may also apply to the course. Students from foreign countries may also apply with special permission of the Administration Committee of the University. This diploma course will be conducted as an add-on course.

4. Diploma in Panchiyati Raj Institutions

1. Objective: To train the students in basic elements of Local Government Financing and to devbelop understanding of Accounting Practices. This course may be conducted as an add-on course
2. Eligibility: 10+2 or its equivalent examination passed candidates from a recognized Board including Madrasa Education Board Bihar, in Arts/Science/Commerce.
3. Duration: One Year.

5. Diploma in Oriental Librarianship

1. Objective: To train and demonstrate special knowledge of Oriental Librarianship and to develop skill for understanding application of modern library technology. Further to equip students with understanding of the best practices in oriental libraries. Knowledge of Arabic Persian, Urdu, languages will be preferred.
2. Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the Intermediate (+2) or equivalent Examination from Madrasa Education Board or any recognized Board/Council. Candidate who are deputed by the Government, Public and Corporate Bodies may apply for admission provided they fulfil the eligibility. Students from foreign countries can also joint the course with special permission of the Admission Committee of the University. This diploma course will be conducted as an add-on course.
