Dr. Md. Jamshed Alam is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in Persian literature, social work, and human rights. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Persian at Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University in Patna, Dr.J. Alam's career is marked by a deep commitment to education and research.

Dr. J. Alam holds a Ph.D. in Persian literature, with his thesis focusing on Syed Md. Ali Jamalzadeh’s contributions to the awakening of Iranian society. His academic journey includes a Post-Doctoral Fellowship on "The Modernist Trend in Persian Literature and Its Social Impact on the Iranian Revolution 1979." Dr. Alam has a diverse educational background with degrees from esteemed institutions like Jawaharlal Nehru University, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Danishgah-e-Shaheed Behishti, Tehran, and the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Alam has participated in international exchange programs, including studies in human rights in Gothenburg, Sweden, under the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. His research interests are complemented by practical experience in rural development and social work, showcasing his dedication to making a tangible impact on society.

Dr. J. Alam has published extensively on Persian literature and its socio-political implications, contributing to national and international journals. His publications include a book on Jamalzadeh’s role in Iran’s socio-political awakening and numerous articles on Persian poetry, cultural transformations, and the impact of literature on society.

Dr. J. Alam is also an avid writer and His achievements include presenting papers at various international conferences.
